About Promooters

ProMoot is the brain child of a few like-minded lawyers who realised the learnings and skills that mooting could inculcate in law students. Avid mooters ourselves during our college years, we realised early on the necessity of having a great mooting experience. A moot experience has its highs and lows, joy and dismay, all while making an indelible mark on a law student. Right from the excitement of discovering a unique point of law during research, to dodging challenging questions from judges with aplomb, a moot quickly becomes an integral part of a law student’s life. Anyone who has participated in a moot will tell you that the adrenaline rush that mooting gives is unparalleled. Great importance is given to mooting, but the lack of availability of quality moots open for all students prompted us to incorporate ProMoot. We aim to encourage development of stronger foundations in law through our unique format and cultivating robust mooting cultures in law students, making them successful legal practitioners in future.
